Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the accounting activities of the company, including but not limited to:

Preparation and maintenance of financial records, general ledgers, and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with Ukrainian Accounting Rules, including VAT regulations.
Perform regular bookkeeping tasks, such as recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
Preparation of financial reports and analysis.
Payroll management and personnel document preparation for Ukrainian employees.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Utilize accounting software, such as BAS, MeDoc, Quickbooks, to manage daily financial operations efficiently.

Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Generate financial reports and provide analysis as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and operations, to support business objectives.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
Assist in Internal Audit processes as per another locations.
Participate in the inventory process as needed.

Ensure accurate recording and valuation of inventory.
Assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant 5+ years.
Strong knowledge of Ukrainian Accounting Rules and regulations, including VAT
Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Quickbooks.
Excellent computer literacy skills, including proficiency in BAS and MeDoc
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Experience in using chatGPT or other AI tools in day to day activities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in English at an Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate level.
